The weekend of January fifth was the start of two race series. Andy, Kenny, and Tim journeyed to Dalton, Georgia to participate in stage #1 of 3 Snake Creek Gap Time Trials. A time trial consisting of a handful of creek crossings, and six mountains with over 5k feet in climbing...(seriously the hills had hills) and when you are finally sort of done climbing with 7ish miles to go you have five miles of rock gardens between you and the finish. It truly was an epic trail and had everything you can imagine! Bring on round #2 February 2nd.

On Sunday the 6th was the start of the Vulture's Knob Winter Training Series. Corianne, Dane, Kenny, Marsha, Rodney and Scott braved the elements and took on the winter course. As always the race was cold, slippery, and fun. There is not a race that is more relaxed and fun than this and it sure beats the heck out of riding the trainer!!
