56 smiling, eager and determined youth riders attended the rescheduled IMBA Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day at the Vulture's Knob Oktoberfest Finale. Three skill zones were set up to work on balance, braking and turning, however the obstacle course was by far the most popular zone of the day! After the clinic the kids rolled over to the youth mountain bike course and did a pre-ride course evaluation with local pro and celebrity mountain bikers from team KSD, Groovy, & Bike Authority. This was followed by the VK youth race, and youth podium and cupcake presentation. TAKMD shirts and water bottles were provided by Eddy’s Bike Shop and Specialized. Medals, Clif Bars, shirts and cupcakes were supplied by Groovy Cycleworks, Rosie Szucs and 331 Racing
